Tricia Baldwin, Co-President

Tricia joined PWC in 2006 and loves being an Alto 2 in a women’s chorus because she gets to sing all the really low notes. She has a B.S. in Chemistry from Stanford and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UC Berkeley. She spent over 30 years working in the Biotechnology industry and recently retired from AbbVie Stemcentrx. She previously served as Board President from 2007-2009 and has rejoined the Board to take up the role of President once again.

Lisa Collart, Co-President

Lisa Collart began singing with the PWC in 1994. She was the section leader for the second altos for many years, and has served three terms on the board. Prior to joining the PWC, Lisa sang in a choir at Amherst College, where she received a BA degree in Mathematics in 1991. After graduating, she lived a year abroad in China, and then returned to the Bay Area where she joined a high tech firm. She received her Masters in Interdisciplinary Computer Science from Mills College in 2002, and worked as a software engineer at InterActual Technologies. Currently, she is a math tutor and is engaged in many volunteer activities.

Stacey Street, Vice President

Stacey was delighted to join PWC in 2021. She has been a choral singer almost continuously since high school, performing with her college women’s chorus, many different community choirs, and ten seasons with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus. Simultaneous to choral participation, she has studied voice privately, and performed in numerous solo recitals. Stacey has over 30 years of development, marketing and non-profit management experience in various sectors, including arts administration, philanthropy, women’s health, and animal welfare. Stacey has served as the Chief Operations Officer for Richmond Community Foundation since 2014, and previously served as Executive Director of the California Symphony, Interim Executive Director for Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra. Stacey lives in Redwood City with her blended family, which includes her husband, daughter, 3 stepkids, a dog and a cat.

Kathryn MacLaury, Treasurer

Kathryn joined PWC in 1988 and has been assisting PWC’s Finance and Funds Development teams by tracking donations and acknowledging donors. She joined a treble choir in high school and never stopped singing. Prior to PWC, she was a member of the SF Symphony Chorus. Kathryn has a BA degree in French from UC Davis and master’s in Public Administration from Cal State University Hayward, where her studies focused on volunteerism and community development. Now retired, she was a senior technical writer and editor at SRI International, Intuit, and Cisco Systems.

Ann Miller, Secretary

To say that music is a huge part of Ann’s life is an understatement. She has been singing since she was born. She’s sung in many musical ensembles throughout college, and then Sweet Adelines for nearly 20 years as a section leader. Following that she sang with an a cappella vocal jazz ensemble for 21 years. Ann has a BA in German and Music from Colby College in Maine, and an EMT certification. She worked for many years in the travel industry, most recently as the Corporate Travel Manager for a big company in Massachusetts. Now her time is spent with a variety of non-profit organizations which don’t pay money, but maybe they help the community. Her two dogs keep her busy and active and out in the woods every day.

Morgan Ames

Morgan joined PWC in spring 2019. Classically trained on piano, Morgan has also played violin, jazz piano, carillon, and bass guitar, and has over three decades of training in ballet, lyrical, and ballroom dance. When she is not singing, dancing, or spending time with her partner and two young kiddos, Morgan is a professor in the School of Information at UC Berkeley and wrote an award-winning book, The Charisma Machine, on children and technology.

Kate Andrade

Kate Andrade is a member of PWC and has been singing in choirs here in the Bay Area and in college since she was in kindergarten. When not singing, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and 2 dogs-rock climbing, traveling, and cheering on Bay Area teams!

Helen Bailey

Helen Bailey sang in the PWC from 2000-2001 and was thrilled to re-join twenty years later in 2021. Prior to singing with PWC, Helen sang in the Freshman Chorus and Slavic Chorus at Yale College, and has played the clarinet, piano, and carillon. Helen has an MD from UC Davis and did her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and a fellowship in surgical pathology at UCSF. She is currently working as a pathologist at a personalized medicine company in the Bay Area. She has two children and two cats, and she enjoys reading, knitting, and quilting.

Paula Chacon

Ann Crichton

Ann joined PWC in 2013 in the Alto 1 section and is excited to continue her love for music. She graduated from Simmons College with a BA in Economics and received an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She played flute, bassoon, and guitar while growing up, and toured Europe with the Simmons College Chorus. She lives in Palo Alto with her husband and three daughters, works full time and spends her free time outdoors.

Heather Mannion

Heather currently lives in San Carlos with her husband and two teen daughters. She grew up in New Jersey, where she sang in the glee club and various ensembles, and performed in musicals in high school. Heather came to Stanford as an undergraduate, majored in English and German literatures, and never left the Bay Area. In college, she sang with the University Singers, Chamber Chorale, and was one of the first members of a campus a cappella group. She met her husband performing in musicals in college (she was auditioning; he was student-directing). Her daughters, like her husband, are also singers and musical theater performers. She has spent the last twelve years as a stay-at-home mom, supporting the schools through work on the various education foundations, and most recently serving on the boards of Carlmont High School’s performing arts organizations, and helping to produce the annual musical. Having been a theater mom, band mom, choir mom, dance mom, and soccer/lacrosse mom for years (and soon to be “empty-nesting”), she realized she misses singing herself! She is currently serving as Volunteer Coordinator for the Chorus. In her free time, she loves to attend A.C.T., SF Symphony, and BroadwaySF performances with her family.   

Erin McOmber

Palo Alto native Erin McOmber is a lyric soprano and voice teacher based on the Peninsula. She earned a DMA in voice performance from the University of Utah, a MM in voice performance and pedagogy from Brigham Young University, and a BA in voice performance from UC San Diego. She has maintained a private voice studio for over twenty years and has been an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing since 2001. She currently serves as co-Vice President for Auditions in the SF Bay Area Chapter of NATS. In addition to her studio, Erin works as Solo Voice Specialist and Group Voice Instructor for iSing Silicon Valley, an award-winning girls’ choir. As a singer, Erin has performed numerous operatic roles such as Mimì (La bohème), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Blanche de la Force (Dialogues des Carmélites), and the title role in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah, and has been the soprano soloist for Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Mozart’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, and more. She is a former member of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and is a founding member and co-conductor of Mayfield Singers, a small, mixed-voice chamber choir based in Palo Alto. Her passion is teaching people to sing with better technique and greater artistry. Erin is excited to serve on the board of this prestigious and storied choir and she does so in honor of Kathy Fujikawa, her high school choir teacher.

Martha Morgan

Martha Morgan has been a proud member of the PWC’s Alto 2 section since 2007. Returning to the board in 2021, Martha has also served on the grants team, the retreat team, and has worked on staging with the artistic director since 2013. Martha grew up singing in church choirs, where her mom was her first choral director, and sang under the direction of Albert J. McNeil in the University Chorus at UC Davis, where she earned a BA degree in English. Martha is currently a lead technical writer and content strategist at Salesforce.
