She sang in the California Bach Society before joining the PWC in 1982 at the beginning of the Song of Survival project. She served as Chorus Coordinator the last two years of her 20s before the company relocated her to Arizona. There she sang with the Arizona Arts Chorale and the Valley Chamber Chorale. Alice returned to California in 2023 and is very pleased to be singing again with PWC. Since retirement she has spent most of her time in volunteer work with a conservancy, in hospitals, and other community charities. She served on the board of her Scottsdale Homeowners’ Association for 18 years. She is now happy to lend her volunteer skills to the PWC board.  She lives in Mountain View with her husband, close to their daughter’s family, where they are able to spend time with their two grandchildren. A Bay Area resident, she has sung and conducted for 35 years, singing with local ensembles like The Choral Project and Ohlone Chamber Singers. Additionally, Paula has had the opportunity to perform with Opera San Jose and several other Bay Area opera companies. Paula has a heart for teaching, leading middle and high school ensembles—choral, instrumental, jazz and marching bands—as well as church and community groups. Yvonne Ho

Yvonne Ho is an accomplished IT Service Operation Executive with over 28 years of experience in strategic enterprise network outsourcing, transformation, transition, and operations management. A lifelong music enthusiast, Yvonne has cultivated her passion for classical piano and choral singing from elementary school through college, serving as a singer, piano accompanist, and music director for the National Central University Choir in Taiwan. After relocating to the U.S. in 1997, she continued her musical journey with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and Stanford Symphonic Choir. Following a brief hiatus to focus on career and family in Silicon Valley, Yvonne discovered PWC and has been delighted to sing alongside a group of extraordinary women since the Fall 2024 season. She resides in Menlo Park with her family and enjoys baking, cooking, and gardening in her free time.

Emily Macway

Emily joined PWC in 2023 and joined the board as the leader of the Chorus Support (“Sunshine”) committee. Emily cares deeply about creating welcoming spaces for people and building community, especially through art and creative expression. She found that joining a choir in high school when her family moved to California in 10th grade was a great way to make new friends and she has been singing in choirs ever since. Emily lives in Mountain View with her husband and teaches mathematics at Santa Clara University.

Heather Mannion

Heather currently lives in San Carlos with her husband and two teen daughters. She grew up in New Jersey, where she sang in the glee club and various ensembles, and performed in musicals in high school. Heather came to Stanford as an undergraduate, majored in English and German literatures, and never left the Bay Area. In college, she sang with the University Singers, Chamber Chorale, and was one of the first members of a campus a cappella group. She met her husband performing in musicals in college (she was auditioning; he was student-directing). Her daughters, like her husband, are also singers and musical theater performers. She has spent the last twelve years as a stay-at-home mom, supporting the schools through work on the various education foundations, and most recently serving on the boards of Carlmont High School’s performing arts organizations, and helping to produce the annual musical. Having been a theater mom, band mom, choir mom, dance mom, and soccer/lacrosse mom for years (and soon to be “empty-nesting”), she realized she misses singing herself! She is currently serving as Volunteer Coordinator for the Chorus. In her free time, she loves to attend A.C.T., SF Symphony, and BroadwaySF performances with her family.

Debbie Romani

Debbie Romani writes contemporary women’s fiction, often centered on musicians. She began singing as a teen, joined her first choir in college, and has sung with church choirs, community choruses, and a cappella groups ever since. Professionally, Debbie worked as a corporate attorney before retiring to raise two children. Since leaving the legal world, Debbie has honed her volunteer skills with the local school district, where she focused primarily on writing copy for four gala fundraisers, and for a local Presbyterian church, where she served for eight years as Clerk of Session and later as a reader for the national Presbyterian ordination exams. When not singing, Debbie tries to keep her knees in shape for skiing, reads voraciously, and enjoys attending community orchestra performances where her husband plays the French horn. She has sung with the Peninsula Women’s Chorus since 2019 and is delighted to support this vibrant chorus as a board member.

Allison Rosengard

Allison joined PWC in 2024 after moving back to the Bay Area. She has been singing in choirs since childhood and is also a member of the SF Choral Society.
