Concert House Manager for Peninsula Women’s Chorus
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate effectively with concert volunteers, equipment providers, audio engineers, and guest performers about assignments and schedules
- Facilitate transportation of risers to and from concert venues for dress rehearsals and concerts
- Set up and take down risers at beginning and end of dress rehearsals and concerts
- Supervise box office procedures and manage “front of house” on concert days
- Manage concert start times and lighting during performances at the direction of the Artistic Director
Qualifications: Experience with performing arts organizations; experience working with volunteers; attention to detail; proactive/self-starter; ability to multitask; ability to work cooperatively and effectively with a wide variety of people
Candidate must have: Availability to attend all PWC dress rehearsals and performances; ability to lift/move choral risers and heavy boxes of programs
Work hours and Compensation: The position requires availability (see list of dates below) for all PWC dress rehearsals and concerts. Hourly compensation is commensurate with experience.
