The Peninsula Women's Chorus (PWC) of Palo Alto is pleased to announce the eighth year of its Mentorship Program. This program is open to 10th, 11th and 12th grade young women with choral experience and a passion for singing. The program offers qualified applicants a unique opportunity to perform advanced and innovative literature with one of the best women's choruses in the country. Participation in the PWC's Gala and concert on March 5th marks the culmination of the program.
Founded in 1966, The Peninsula Women's Chorus is well known for its dedication to musical excellence and its adventurous leadership in expanding new treble choral literature. You can view the PWC in action by visiting our Videos page.
Participation in the PWC Mentorship Program is free to accepted applicants, though a fully refundable deposit for bound music may be requested. Interns successfully completing the program will receive a Certificate of Completion and two complimentary tickets to PWC’s spring concert.
Interested students may apply by downloading the application materials and submitting them by December 30, 2016. Auditions will be held on January 5 to determine final acceptance into the program. NOTE: Students who submit applications by November 25 may request an early audition on December 1.
