Tricia Baldwin, President

Tricia joined PWC in 2006 and loves being an Alto 2 in a women’s chorus because she gets to sing all the really low notes. She has a B.S. in Chemistry from Stanford and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UC Berkeley. She spent over 30 years working in the Biotechnology industry and recently retired from AbbVie Stemcentrx. She previously served as Board President from 2007-2009 and has rejoined the Board to take up the role of President once again.

Cathleen Kalcic, Vice-President

Cathleen joined Peninsula Women's Chorus in 1989 and has served as Chorus Coordinator, Board Member, and Gala Committee Chair. Cathleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Cathleen now works part time as a cantor for the Roman Catholic Church, singing at Sunday masses, weddings, and f unerals throughout the Diocese of San Jose and the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

Andra Marynowski, Treasurer

Andra Marynowski has been singing with the PWC since 1981. She has also served as board treasurer since 1988! In addition to her work on the board, she also works with the grants committee to find new ways to support and fund the PWC.
Currently Andra works as a project manager at 8x8, Inc.

Judy Sweet, Secretary

Judy Sweet began singing first soprano with PWC in 1994. This is her third term as Board Secretary and she has served on the Funds Development, Governance and Operations Committees. Her first singing experiences were in church and school choruses. In college she sang in a women's a cappella group. She received a B.A. in Psychology from Wilson College. Judy retired a few years ago from Genentech where she worked as a technical writer/editor in Clinical Data Management.

Kate Andrade

Kate Andrade is a member of PWC and has been singing in choirs here in the Bay Area and in college since she was in kindergarten. When not singing, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and 2 dogs-rock climbing, traveling, and cheering on Bay Area teams!

Lisa Collart

Lisa Collart began singing with the PWC in 1994. She was the section leader for the second altos for many years, and has served three terms on the board. Prior to joining the PWC, Lisa sang in a choir at Amherst College, where she received a BA degree in Mathematics in 1991. After graduating, she lived a year abroad in China, and then returned to the Bay Area where she joined a high tech firm. She received her Masters in Interdisciplinary Computer Science from Mills College in 2002, and worked as a software engineer at InterActual Technologies. Currently, she is a math tutor and is engaged in many volunteer activities.

Yiting Jin

Yiting took her first step as a musician at the age of four on the piano and began singing with choirs in middle school. An East Coast transplant, she joined the PWC as an Alto 2 in 2011 and is thrilled to be discovering and performing contemporary music. Her interests outside of singing and music include figure skating, traveling, mentoring and solving puzzles.
Yiting has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University and is a product manager at VMware, an enterprise software company in Palo Alto.

Carol Sanders

Carol is the Chief Financial Officer at Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View. She earned her B.S. in Finance from Boston University and her M.B.A. from The College of William & Mary. Carol also serves on the board of 4Cs San Mateo.

Katie Sanwick

Katie joined the PWC in 2007. She has been serving as the ticket coordinator since 2013 and the Chorus Coordinator as of 2019. Her first choral experience was in college and it's been a major part of her life ever since. She has a B.A. in music with an emphasis in theory from Whittier College and an M.A. in Music Systems from San Jose State University. After a previous career in college admissions, she currently works as the Registrar at the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View.

Luke Sanwick

Luke Sanwick began volunteering with PWC in 2009, and has participated in the chorus in a number of ways alongside his wife, Katie, who has been singing with PWC since 2007. He is currently serving his first term on the board. He has a B.S. in Computer Science a nd a M.S. in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University. He has worked as a software engineer for Facebook and Enjoy Technology.

Barbara Saxton

Barbara initially sang with PWC from 1988 - 2004, then rejoined the chorus (from 2014 to the present. She holds a B.A. in Asian Studies from U.C. Santa Barbara and teaching credentials from San Jose State University. After working for over fifteen years in the financial services industry, Barbara taught middle and high school English for thirteen years. She is now retired, writes and publishes poetry, and also sings with an Eastern European dance band.

Michelle Staley

Michelle Staley has sung in church, school, and community choirs all of her life. She joined PWC as a first soprano in 2015. She earned a B.A. in Archaeology and an M.A. in Anthropological Sciences from Stanford, after which she worked for 15 years as a professional archaeologist in the Bay Area. Michelle enjoys traveling; handicrafts such as knitting, sewing, and embroidery; adventure sports such as whitewater rafting and scuba diving; and puzzles and word games.

Jane Walker

Jane Walker grew up singing in a rural Pennsylvania church choir along with her parents and 5 siblings. She recently rediscovered her joy of singing in voice classes at Foothill College and joined the PWC in 2009.
Jane holds a BS in Nursing from the University of Miami in Florida and has two decades of experience in directing the clinical evaluation of new pharmaceuticals. She has raised 4 children and served on the board of a local theatre. Jane creates both decorative and functional art using a variety of media.
